The Long Term Racist History of Donald J.Trump-Who most believe to be A traitor to American Values

B.A.W.N (WASHINGTON D.C.) — It is no secret that many Americans are certain President Donald Trump has routinely struggled with his own racist past. Even as of today President Trump targeted the head of the House Oversight committee for further criticism on Sunday, after a day earlier accusing Rep. Elijah Cummings of doing a “very poor job for his district and the City of Baltimore” and describing the district as a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”

The president’s weekend tweets followed a segment on “Fox & Friends” Saturday that showed the lawmaker criticizing conditions at the southern border during a recent congressional hearing. The segment then featured Republican commentator Kimberly Klacik describing a section of West Baltimore, which is part of Mr. Cummings’s district, as dangerous and filled with trash and rodents. “No human being would want to live there,” the president tweeted afterward.

Even as of today most Americans have grown use to the incredibly negative disposition of this President, but nevertheless most are still surprised by the level of displacement and immortality from someone who holds the esteem office of the Present of the United States.
 Here’s a breakdown of Trump’s history, taken largely from Dara Lind’s list for Vox and an op-ed by Nicholas Kristof in the New York Times:

The Long Term Racist History:

1973: The US Department of Justice — under the Nixon administration, out of all administrations — sued the Trump Management Corporation for violating the Fair Housing Act. Federal officials found evidence that Trump had refused to rent to black tenants and lied to black applicants about whether apartments were available, among other accusations. Trump said the federal government was trying to get him to rent to welfare recipients. In the aftermath, he signed an agreement in 1975 agreeing not to discriminate to renters of color without admitting to discriminating before.

1980: Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, (above) accused another one of Trump’s businesses of discrimination. “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Brown said. “It was the eighties, I was a teenager, but I remember it: They put us all in the back.”

1988: In a commencement speech at Lehigh University, Trump spent much of his speech accusing countries like Japan of “stripping the United States of economic dignity.” This matches much of his current rhetoric on China.

1989: In a controversial case that’s been characterized as a modern-day lynching, four black teenagers and one Latino teenager — the “Central Park Five” — were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City. Trump immediately took charge in the case, running an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated after they spent seven to 13 years in prison, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump in October 2016 said he still believes they’re guilty, despite the DNA evidence to the contrary.

1991: A book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump at first denied the remarks, but later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”

1992: The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine because it transferred black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices.

1993: In congressional testimony, Trump said that some Native American reservations operating casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.”

2000: In opposition to a casino proposed by the St. Regis Mohawk tribe, which he saw as a financial threat to his casinos in Atlantic City, Trump secretly ran a series of ads suggesting the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.”

2004: In season two of The Apprentice, Trump fired Kevin Allen, (above) a black contestant, for being over educated. “You’re an unbelievably talented guy in terms of education, and you haven’t done anything,” Trump said on the show. “At some point you have to say, ‘That’s enough.’”

2005: Trump publicly pitched what was essentially The Apprentice: White People vs. Black People. He said he “wasn’t particularly happy” with the most recent season of his show, so he was considering “an idea that is fairly controversial — creating a team of successful African Americans versus a team of successful whites. Whether people like that idea or not, it is somewhat reflective of our very vicious world.”

2010: In 2010, there was a huge national controversy over the “Ground Zero Mosque” — a proposal to build a Muslim community center in Lower Manhattan, near the site of the 9/11 attacks. Trump opposed the project, calling it “insensitive,” and offered to buy out one of the investors in the project. On The Late Show With David Letterman, Trump argued, referring to Muslims, “Well, somebody’s blowing us up. Somebody’s blowing up buildings, and somebody’s doing lots of bad stuff.”

2011: Trump played a big role in pushing false rumors that Obama — the country’s first black president — was not born in the US. He even sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama’s birth certificate. Obama later released his birth certificate, calling Trump a ”carnival barker.” (The research has found a strong correlation between “birtherism,” as this conspiracy theory is called, and racism.) Trump has reportedly continued pushing this conspiracy theory in private.

2011: While Trump suggested that Obama wasn’t born in the US, he also argued that maybe Obama wasn’t a good enough student to have gotten into Columbia or Harvard Law School, and demanded Obama release his university transcripts. Trump claimed, “I heard he was a terrible student. Terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?”

2015: trump launched his campaign in 2015 by calling Mexican immigrants “rapists” who are “bringing crime” and “bringing drugs” to the US. His campaign was largely built on building a wall to keep these immigrants out of the US.

2015: As a candidate in 2015, Trump called for a ban on all Muslims coming into the US. His administration eventually implemented a significantly watered-down version of the policy.

When asked at a 2016 Republican debate whether all 1.6 billion Muslims hate the US, Trump said, “I mean a lot of them. I mean a lot of them.”

2016: Donald Trump celebrated Cinco de Mayo by publishing a tweet that read: “Happy #CincoDeMayo! (above) The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!” The tweet linked to a Facebook page, and more importantly, included a picture of Trump with one hand giving a thumbs up, and the other hand holding a fork resting on the edge of a fresh “taco bowl.” Here, see for yourself:

2016: Trump argued in 2016 that Judge Gonzalo Curiel — who was overseeing the Trump University lawsuit — should recuse himself from the case because of his Mexican heritage and membership in a Latino lawyers association. House Speaker Paul Ryan, who endorsed Trump, later called such comments “the textbook definition of a racist comment.”

2016: In a pitch to black voters in 2016, (above) Trump said, “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58 percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?”

2017: In the week after white supremacist protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017, Trump repeatedly said that “many sides” and “both sides” were to blame for the violence and chaos that ensued — suggesting that the white supremacist protesters were morally equivalent to counter protesters that stood against racism. He also said that there were “some very fine people” among the white supremacists. All of this seemed like a dog whistle to white supremacists — and many of them took it as one, with white nationalist Richard Spencer praising Trump for “defending the truth.”

2018: Throughout 2017, Trump repeatedly attacked NFL players who, by kneeling or otherwise silently protesting during the national anthem, demonstrated against systemic racism in America

2019:  Trump tweeted that several black and brown members of Congress — Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — are “from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe” and that they should “go back” to those countries. It’s a common racist trope to say that black and brown people, particularly immigrants, should go back to their countries of origin. Three of four of the members of Congress whom Trump targeted were born in the US.

But when you put all these events together, a clear pattern emerges. Without a doubt Trump has a history of racist role to play to his base, but with that being said we doubt that history will award Donald Trump a President that most Americans believe is such a horrible person with any favorable honors. R.Kelly’s new Federal Sex Crime Charges EXPECTED TO BE EXTRADITED TO New York

B.A.W.N (Chicago) —  Singer R. Kelly was arrested on federal sex charges in Chicago Thursday night nearly five months after he was released on bail for additional sexual abuse charges brought by Illinois prosecutors, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s office said.

The 52-year-old was arrested by Homeland Security Investigation agents and NYPD Public Safety Task Force, officials told News 4, and it is expected he will be brought to New York.

A 13-count indictment was handed down earlier Thursday in federal court for the Northern District of Illinois and includes charges of child pornography, enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice, U.S. attorney spokesman Joseph Fitzpatrick told The Associated Press.

Spokespeople from the NYPD and Homeland Security Investigations declined to comment on the arrest. Calls to the U.S. attorney in Brooklyn were not immediately returned.

There are separate federal indictments filed in both Chicago and Brooklyn, according to a senior law enforcement official, and a court appearance in Chicago could come later Friday.

Mr. Kelly has declared his innocence from day one,” said the singers Manager Darrel Johnson. In addition Johnson says, he has been working with the R&B star for six months. “I’ve seen nothing, and I do mean nothing, that would lead to any type of guilt.”

Further details on the case are expected to be announced Friday in federal court for the Eastern District of New York.

In February, Kelly was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He was accused of abusing four women. (BAWN)

Legendary Black director, writer and producer John Singleton dies at 51

B.A.W.N (LOS ANGELES)- The family of director John Singleton told FOX4 film critic Shawn Edwards early Monday that Singleton has died.

But According to FOX 4, legendary director John Singleton has died. He was 51. However, TMZ has a conflicting report that Singleton is still alive and on life support.

Singleton had been in a coma after suffering a major stroke more than a week ago.

Singleton’s family had previously confirmed he suffered a stroke on April 17 but did not elaborate on his condition.

Singleton, 51, who was the first black filmmaker nominated for the best director Oscar award, is known for films like “Boyz n the Hood” and “Poetic Justice.”

A show he co-created for the FX Network, “Snowfall,” was renewed last year for a third season.

Singleton’s peers and colleagues have expressed their affection.

“Showing love/support for a fellow black director from LA,” Ava DuVernay wrote in a tweet. “He is a lovely man. Pray with me.” (BAWN)

HOW WIll Chicago’s New Mayor Address It’s Police Brutality ISSUE

B.A.W.N- CHICAGO This week Chicago became the largest American city ever to elect a black woman as its mayor as voters on Tuesday chose Lori Lightfoot, a former prosecutor, to replace Rahm Emanuel. For the record-when she takes office in May, Ms. Lightfoot also will be the city’s first openly gay mayor.

Ms. Lightfoot, who has never held elective office, easily won the race, with a double digit lead. The results this week ended as Lori Lightfoot overwhelming a better-known, longtime politician Toni Preckwinkle, a former alderman who is president of the Cook County Board and who had for years been viewed as a highly formidable candidate for mayor.

Ms. Lightfoot’s win signaled a notable shift in the mood of voters and a rejection of an entrenched political culture that has more often rewarded insiders and dismissed unknowns.

For many voters, the notion that someone with no political ties might become mayor of Chicago seemed an eye-opening counterpoint to a decades-old, often-repeated mantra about this city’s political order: “We don’t want nobody nobody sent.”

Still overshadowing Chicago is the way it has dealt with Community Violence and Police Brutality across the nation.

For example- many people around the nation know of the well known case in Chicago with the police officer shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald which sparked citywide protests in November 2015.

This ignited Chicago’s ongoing movement for police reform, but the Chicago Police Department’s records still to date show the gaping racial disparities in everyday use of force that has played a role in creating the deep distrust in the city’s police department among communities of color.

For for the record- CPD’s data shows that reported force is applied unevenly across Chicago. African-Americans, Hispanics, and whites each make up about a third of the city’s population, but police report using force on these groups at sharply different rates. Between 2005 and 2015, roughly 72 percent of all CPD uses of force targeted African-Americans.

The ongoing mayhem is the result of Chicago police officers’ withdrawal from proactive enforcement, making the city a dramatic example of what many reform specialist have coined the “Ferguson effect.”

Lightfoot considers herself a police reformer but the records show that during the early 2000s, Lightfoot’s rulings cut both ways on controversial shootings by police officers. In one particularly egregious fatal shooting caught on video, Lightfoot stood against the police brass and moved to fire an officer.

But in another case, she sided with high-ranking officers over her investigators, who had recommended that a cop be fired for lying repeatedly about a fatal shooting they found unjustified. Lightfoot declared the shooting justified and confirmed a 30-day suspension.

According to Lighhtfoot’s Mayor campaign website:

Lori consistently worked to accommodate families and community input at Police Board hearings, consistently and aggressively challenged investigative bodies to bring cases to the board without unnecessary delays, and demanded that the City’s corporation counsel substantially improve its representation of people who experienced police misconduct by using at least two experienced lawyers per case and effectively presenting cases.

As Ms. Lightfoot took the stage in a downtown ballroom on Tuesday night, she acknowledged the unlikeliness of her resounding victory, in which she appeared to win all 50 of Chicago’s wards

“We were up against powerful interests, a powerful machine and a powerful mayor,” she said. “Nobody gave us much of a chance.”

Many watch groups hope the ghost of the past will not reflect and impede the progress of a city still torn with grappling police reform issues (glg)

White Privilege Leads to Racketeering Charges in National College Admission Scandal

B.A.W.N-(Washington, D.C.) The federal government unsealed court documents in Boston this week that unveiled a startling tale of  White privilege, elitism and bribery.  It all hinged on admission to the top schools in the country and bribes for admission of children of the elite. According to the FBI, those indicted  “Robbed students of their fair shot at a chance to attend some of the country’s top schools.”

The  US Justice Department has indicted at least 50 people in a nationwide cheating scandal that saw payouts of up to $6 million to get their children into elite schools.

Among those indicted are actress Lori Loughlin, who played Aunt Becky on the ABC sitcom “Full House”,  and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli.  ABC News reports that the couple “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”

The 200-page D.O.J charging document included testimony from a cooperating witness, email records and secret recordings. According to federal prosecutors:

“Beginning in or about 2011, and continuing through the present, the defendants — principally individuals whose high-school-age children were applying to college — conspired with others to use bribery and other forms of fraud to facilitate their children’s admission to colleges and universities in the District of Massachusetts and elsewhere, including Yale University, Stanford University, the University of Texas, the University of Southern California, and the University of Southern California — Los Angeles.”

Also indicted was actress Felicity Huffman who prosecutors state, ” “made a purported charitable contribution of $15,000 … to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her eldest daughter.”

According to CNN, the alleged crimes committed by those indicted also include cheating on college admissions exams. Prosecutors allege that third parties took critical exams in place of the students. In addition, it is alleged that records and profiles of ineligible student-athletes were altered in the admissions scheme.  The federal indictment is unprecedented, in the scope and breadth of the alleged crimes committed and also is a direct indictment on the college admission process when it comes to poor and disadvantaged students. The Tragedy surrounding The Crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 that killed 150 people

BAWN (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia)  The Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crashed Sunday morning, killing everyone on board, including eight Chinese nationals, according to reports.

The airlines Group CEO, Mr Tewolde Gebre-Mariam, said Capitan Yared Mulugeta, an Ethiopian-born Kenyan national, was a senior pilot, who had been flying the same plane since November 2007.  The airline released a statement via twitter (Below).

His first officer, Mr Ahmednur Mohamednur, had several flight hours under his belt, Mr Tewolde disclosed in his briefing to the press in Addis Ababa, after visiting the crash site.

The Group CEO further disclosed that Boeing 737 Max-8 plane underwent a routine maintenance on February 4, 2019. The plane, which crashed shortly after takeoff from Addis Ababa, it had 149 passengers and eight crew members on board, the airline said. There were no survivors. 

Nineteen United Nations staff members were among those killed, according to a UN statement. The victims worked for the World Food Program, The Office of the High Commissioner on Refugees, The International Telecommunications Union, The Food and Agriculture Organization, International Organization for Migration in SouthSudan, World Bank and UN Assistance Mission in Somalia, and the UN Office in Nairobi.

Though it’s unclear why UN employees were on the plane, the UN Environment Assembly is scheduled to begin Monday in Nairobi.”My heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of all the victims — including our own UN staff — who perished in this tragedy,” Secretary-General Antonio Guterressaid.

The last major accident involving an Ethiopian Airlines passenger plane was in January 2010, when a flight from Beirut went down, killing 83 passengers and seven crew.At this point the crash is being investigated with a international task force.

The biopic “You Brought the Sunshine” will be produced by Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah, and Mary J. Blige, (pictured, below) is now set to air in early 2019.

The project was first announced in November 2018 and there was fierce competition on which network would get the chance to air the movie. For the record The Lifetime cable network owned by A&E. 

In 1960’s Detroit, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, who organized  and vocally trained her five daughters, Jacky Clark Chisholm, Denise Clark Bradford, Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and Karen Clark Sheard in a unique style that became known as the “Clark Sound.”

It was the defining touch from a mother who was also a noted choral director credited by the Church of God In Christ for defining the denomination’s modern sound and choirs.  The Clark Sisters had numerous hits that ultimately garnered the group three Grammy’s.

In a career that has spanned more than 50 years, the Clark Sisters include among their devotees Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, and a score of others. Lifetime has announced the following actresses to play the roles of the sisters:

Kierra Sheard as Karen Clark Sheard
Angela Birchett as Jacky Cullum-Chisholm
Christina Bell as Twinkie Clark
Raven Goodwin as Denise Clark Bradford

Grammy award-winning producer Donald Lawrence was hired to work with the cast and he posted the following to Instagram:

The Resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan &HATRED IN AMERICA

B.A.W.N-(Montgomery County, OH) The local officials have approved a permit by a Ku Klux Klan-affiliated group to rally on Courthouse Square.

The Honorable Sacred Knights of Indiana plan to gather May 25 with an estimated 10 to 20-plus individuals in downtown Dayton, according to the group’s permit application.

Out of Madison, Ind., the group first applied for a permit using fictitious names, local law enforcement agencies and the FBI determined, according to the county.

This brings a concern that many people in communities across America are asking this simple question?  How did we get to the current stage of public confusion that has taken place since the violence that occurred during the Charlottesville incident? 

Well-hmmm that’s great question. To answer this question, most would agree (also many have asked) that, it would be good for clarification to provide a list and inform the public about aggressive hate groups across America- how they operate, who is involved with these groups (leadership,etc), and we should not forget about where you can go to get current up-to-date information.

So, Let’s begin with Definition of a Hate Group:

According to data from Southern Poverty Law Center or SPL-the following bullet points (below) clearly define-hate groups in America, and answers questions of the who, what, when, where, and why-here a a few examples: 

“All hate groups have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics.” One notable fact about most hate groups is that they can be identified by their own distinctive symbols -in most cases those items includes dress, talk, and even tattoos, as shown in the example below from the Great American Disconnect. The Fallout Over Leaving Neverland: A Dicey Tale of Sorted Sexual Abuse Allegations

BAWN-(Los Angeles) Last night a new Michael Jackson documentary called “Leaving Neverland” premiered on HBO. The four-hour-long project that centers on “two men who recount their multiple experiences of being sexually abused by Michael Jackson.”

James Safechuck, at age ten, and Wade Robson, at age seven, who were both young men and their families were befriended by Jackson at the height of his music career in the early 90’s.

At the height of his stardom Michael Jackson began long-running relationships with two boys, aged 7 and 10 and their families. According to witness accounts, Michael did spend much of his time entertaining those folks around the country

Sources say,-They always had the best accommodations without limitations, food, limousines, hotels and they were always well accounted for even staying in Michael’s home.

According to one anonymous source close to the family:

For someone who so often professed his loneliness, Michael Jackson spent a remarkable amount of time avoiding people. He wore disguises, broke off relationships, and changed telephone numbers, but still paparazzi, delusional women, and desperate men pursued him.

The saddest part, though, was that the people who Michael befriended took the greatest advantage of his generosity and kindness.

One such person is Wade Robson one of Michael’s accusers, who is widely known as being mentored by Michael. Wade has enjoyed a major career in the music industry is an Australian dancer and choreographer. He began performing as a dancer at the age of five.

Todate Wade has directed music videos and world tours for pop artists such as NSYNC and Britney Spears.

Robson was also the host and executive producer for The Wade Robson Project which aired on MTV in 2003. In 2007, he joined the Fox television dance series So You Think You Can Dance as a judge and choreographer.

Previous Sexual Abuse Lawsuits Against Michael 

In 1994, after a year-long investigation, Michael Jackson reached an out-of-court settlement with a 14-year-old boy who accused the star of sexual battery, fraud, negligence, seduction, willful misconduct and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

In December 2003, Michael was charged with seven counts of child molesting and faced up to 20 years in prison. These charges did not involve Wade or James. After a highly public 14-week trial, Michael Jackson was acquitted in 2005.

Michael Jackson Estate and Family Reaction

The Jackson family has spoken out against the film, calling it “a public lynching.” The Jackson estate also released a formal statement referring to the movie as “a one-sided marathon of unvetted propaganda to shamelessly exploit an innocent man no longer here to defend himself.”

In addition, The Michael Jackson Estate filed a $100 million lawsuit against HBO on Feb. 21 over the documentary “Leaving Neverland,”  Jackson’s camp is arguing that HBO violated a non-disparagement clause from 1992.

In deference to the allegations the Estate of Michael Jackson remains steadfast after releasing a statement that read, in part:

“This is yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson. … This so-called ‘documentary’ is just another rehash of dated and discredited allegations.

It’s baffling why any credible filmmaker would involve himself with this project.”

Fans Reaction

While fans have had a mixture of reactions, most seem in deference to the allegations place in the video.

They always seek to vilify the image of Black Men. Any Black Man who has power and can equate positive change is a threat, and you see it across all segments of our society.
